Emerald City Comic Con
Review: An amazing convention all around. Although we were
not as prepared as we wanted to be, the end result from the show pushes us
further on with our quest to finally publish MockTales as a full run Comic
Book. With the amazing feedback we've received so far, our new goal is to release the first issue of MockTales at
Emerald City Comic Con April 4-5, 2009.
Also on the yearly agenda
we're looking to put together our Pin-up book; Project Molten. This
book will contain various pin-up artwork filled with characters from the
MockTales Universe. Goal for release of Project Molten will also be
Emerald City Con 2009.
On a personal note, I know that many
of you have been waiting quite some time for me to get this book, as well as
artwork in general completed. With the support I received at this show and
the amazing amount of email feedback I've been reviewing, this helps me push
on to get my work done. As I discussed with many of you this weekend,
my artwork is done when I have the free time after work and family. If
we can keep pushing forward with support and funding like this then I will
be able to make this my full time gig in no time.
